Woman shaking hands

Over the past 2 weeks, I have been piloting a workshop on the “Habits of Success.” These workshops are targeted for women with big career goals–whether they are working for a company, working in a non-profit setting, are an entrepreneur, or are considering going back to work after an extended absence.
The objective of the program are three-fold:
1. To help women get clear about what they want.
2. To help women go about creating what they want using proven success principles.
3. To help women build the support structures that will keep them on-track.
Building on an article that I also posted this week (https://qz.com/work/1686082/a-specific-type-of-networking-helps-women-get-top-jobs/) most successful women had a tight knit circle of female colleagues. What if that circle were empowered to be “success coaches” as well.
That is the ultimate goal of my program: To empower all women to get the coaching they need to be successful. And it all starts with empowering the woman at the center—YOU.
Ever since Maxwell Maltz pioneered the concept, I have believed that it takes 21 days to change a habit. A recent study at NASA suggests it is more like 30 days. Whether it is 21 days or 30 days, it is clear it will take some practice time to establish new habits. So, after the introduction to the program, I will focus on one habit a month that we can all practice together to help us get the clarity we need, take the action required, and build the needed support to realize our dreams.
Twenty-five women have experienced the workshop and program outline and have given valuable feedback to make it even better for YOU. I will be running the first face-to-face workshop in September and then monthly calls for a year thereafter.
Stay tuned for more information.
